Display Meaning Action
The battery is empty. Replace with new
batteries.

The testing cannot
be performed
because the
battery is low.
Replace with new
batteries.

The sampling
volume or blow
power is not
enough to analyze
the breath sample.
Press the start button, the
countdown will start again,
and “BLOW” will appear
on the display. You can
now perform a new test.
Out
If no breath sample
was given within
3 minutes, the device
turns off automat-
ically.
Press power button to
restart the countdown
cycle and retest.
Outc
The testing cannot
be performed
because the device
is turned on outside
of the operating
temperature.
Repeat the test after
the unit has reached
a temperature within
the operation range
(5°C to 40°C).
Err2
“Err2” states that fluid
or saliva has entered
the device and the
sensor is unable to
evaluate it.
Wait 20 minutes and
then try again. If “Err2” is
displayed for a long time,
contact your seller for
customer service.

The total number
of breath tests per-
formed has reached
500. The device
should be calibrated
promptly to maintain
the warranty and
accuracy.

calibration service. You
can send the device for
calibration to the service
