Note: The car kit will turn o automatically if it is in standby mode and can’t
connect to any devices after 10 minutes.
Pairing with a Bluetooth Mobile Phone
Prior to using the car kit for the rst time, you have to pair it with a Bluetooth-
enabled mobile phone. The pairing procedures are dierent for all models of
mobile phones. Please refer to the user manual of your mobile phone for further
information. The general pairing procedures are as follows:
1. Keep the car kit and your Bluetooth mobile phone within 1 metre when
pairing;
2. Make sure the car kit is turned o, otherwise turn it o;
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 6~7 seconds until the LCD
screen displays “Pairing…” Now the car kit entered pairing mode;
4. Activate your mobile phone’s Bluetooth function and search for Bluetooth
devices. After the search is completed, select “BTC500” from the Bluetooth
device list;
5. As directed, enter either password or PIN No: “0000”, and press “Yes” or
“conrm”;
6. After successful pairing, select “BTC500”from the Bluetooth device list and
press“connect”. After successful connecting, the LCD screen will display the
name of your mobile phone.
