Scrolling A window is so named because it often acts as a window through which you can view
something which may be much bigger. It allows you to see an area of a file, directory
or picture stored in the computer. The proportion of the file visible depends on the
size and shape of the frame. The area of the file you can see alters as you move the
frame around:
