NOTE:
As the motors
run. the
gearbox
will move down
and off the ends
of the
sp'indles.
Onr:e the
gearbox
is free of the spindles, set it dc,wn
on the
drain tray.
NO,TE:
The right
drive
positional
hall sensor
plate
w'ill no longer
be
secured.
Note
tlre
position
of sensor
plate
fbr reinstallation.
Go to
the back
of the
machine
and disconnect the
qroup
motor
power plugs
and
all hall
sensor
plugs.
Usc
an AMIP
pin
remover to disconnect the red
and
black wires
of either
group
motor
from the
shared
group power plug.
NOTE:
This will
allou'the
cc,nnector
to
move
past
the hot water drain line
as
you
pull
it
out from
the
front
ofthe rnachine.
10.
Pull
the
gearbox
out from the fiont of the machine
through
the
grounds
bin
area.
Gearbox Installation
l.
Insert
the
gearbox
through the
grounds
bin area until
it
sits under
the
brew
group
assembly.
NOTE,: Make
sure all
wires
and connectors
from
the hall
seusors
and
motors
are clear and
go
to the back
of the
rmachine.
2.
Go
to the
back
of the machine and insert
the lree recl
and black
wires
from
one of
the motors
into
the shared
groLtp
power plLrg.
NOTE:
Proper pattern
of wires
is
black. red.
black. red. as view fiom
the rear
of
the machine.
3. Plug
in
the glroup
motor power plug
and rotational
hall
sensors plugs
to the
assigned plugs.

Hold
the
gea,rbox
under the spindles.
5. tjse
TEST
R.ourlNES,
LEFT/RIGHT DRIVES
and press
the down
arrow
urrtil
the spindles
both start to f'eed into
the
gearbox.
NOTE:
Make
sure
the
right positionLal
hall
sensor
plate
has been
properly
placed.
6.
Press
the
dovvn
arrovr,' until
the
gearbox
is drawn
up to
the brass
spacers.
7.
Rc-check
riglht positional
hall
sensor
plate
location.
8. Insert
the fbur
gearbox
mounting
bolts up
through
the
qearbox
and finger
tighten.
9.
Lower
the le11
and right
pislons
slightly and tighten
the four
rnountins
bolts.
10.
Run
a brew group
initialization
to reset.
