. Using a
lOmm
wrench,
remove
the
Breu' Line
from the flow
splitter.
2. Using
a.lmm
wrench.
remove
screw
lrom
lower
piston
shaft.
3. Access
l-es1 Routines
and
scroll
to
"L Drive Motor", drive
the Lower
Piston
up as far
as
it will
go.
then
down as lar as
it will
go.

4. lnsert
your
hand
up the
Brew
Charnber
from the
bottom. You
should feel the
bottom
of the
nylon
shafi.
Push
shaft
upw'ard until
Lower Piston Flead
has
cleared
top of chamber.
5.
tJsing a
rtowel. grab the
Piston
Head and
pull
upward
until Breu'Line is clear
of
chamber.

scroll
to
"R
Drive Motor.''

Remove the top
panel from
the
machine.
3. Remove
Grounds
Funnel
4. Using a
3/8
wrench,
remove
the Brew Line
from the rrpper
pisrton
and
disconnect
from spindle
assY.
5. Using
a
4mm Allen
Wrench.
remove
the Helical Groove
Bolt.
located on
the
right sidr: of
the brew
block.
6. Using
Tr;st
Routines.
drive
the
Right Drive up as
f-ar as it
rvill go.
Be careful
not
to
bind the
piston on any
stationarv
parts
of the
group
as
you
drive
it
up.
The
pist,rn should
rotate
freely
in the chamber and
allow
vou
to spin
it clear
of any obstructions.

When the motor
no
longer
drives
the
piston
up,
it is free
ol'the
gearbox
and
can be
pulled
out
fiom the
top
of the
group
assembly.

I Place m:rchine
in
"Test
Routines"
mode.
2. Remove
grounds
bin.
3. Using-fEST
ROIJTINES
move
the lefi and right
pistons
up
as high
as
they
will
go
(upper
crash).
4.
Remove the
2 lower spindle
cover
caps.
5.
Remove the
4
gearbox mounting
bolts underneath the
gearbox
and set aside.
