Printing
Attention Make sure the printer has paper (see "Loading a new roll of paper"
on page 3-26).
1. Press the
SETUP key, then the <System setup> softkey and select the internal
printer.
2. On the "Printer contents" line, select to print either only the trace or only the
table, or both trace + table or the screen.
3. If the Screen option is selected, display the data you wish to print.
4. Press the
PRINT key.
The selected copy of the screen is printed.
Attention If there is no print on the paper, check if the roll of paper has been
placed in the printer on the right side (see page 3-26) as only one face
of the thermal paper can be printed.
A header containing the mains acquisition parameters will be printed (see the
following table).
Header
A header including the following informations is printed to the top of the copy .

Identification of the module installed in the OTDR during
the acquisition (type, serial number).
File parameters
Trace Filename of the trace if it has been loaded from memory
storage device.
Title Title of the trace
Operator Operator name
Cable Id. Identification name for the cable
Origin location Name entered for the origin of the fiber
End Location Name entered for the end of the fiber
Direction Direction of the measurement (origin to end or end to
origin)
Acquisition parameters
Measurement Date Date and time the measurement was made
Laser Wavelength of the laser used to make the measurement
Pulse Pulsewidth used to make the measurement
