Flashing Green signifies Initial Bootup.
After bootup completion, solid Blue signifies no backhaul connection, the unit is waiting end user to
push the WPS button to initiate the pairing with residential gateway.
After pushing the WPS button, if there is another Access Point trying to pair, the unit will flash Blue,
signifying backhaul pairing process.
Once backhaul pairing with the residential gateway is complete, the unit will flash Blue and
Yellow alternate, signifying weak signal in the back backhaul, if the signal is weak.
Once backhaul pairing with the residential gateway is complete, the unit will flash Blue and
Red alternate, signifying very weak signal in the back backhaul, if the signal is very weak.
On backhaul pairing failure the unit will go back to solid Blue LED.
After pushing the WPS button, if there is an station trying to pair, the unit will flash Blue and White
alternate, signifying station pairing process.
Once pairing is complete, the unit will flash White and Green alternate for 10 seconds,
signifying successful station pairing.
Once pairing is complete, the unit will flash White and Yellow alternate for 10 seconds,
signifying failed station pairing.
Operational states:
Solid White indicates problem-free wireless operation.
Blinking White indicates problem-free wireless operation but 2.4GHz band is off or disabled.
Blinking White and Red alternate indicates that 5GHz band is off or disabled, which prevents
backhaul communication. The WEB7200 can’t communicate with the Internet.
Blinking Red indicates that both bands are off or disabled, which prevents backhaul
communication. The WEB7200 can’t communicate with the Internet.
Back(Panel(
• Power port: used to connect the power adapter (external, 12V DC, 2A, made by Actiontec, model
#CDS024T-W120U) to the Extender.
• Reset button: restores the Extender back to the original factory default settings when held down for at
least 10 seconds.
• Dual-port Gigabit Ethernet switch: used for directly connecting the Extender to the gateway/modem.
