Identify Encoder Port

Note the port number where the encoder is connected for future reference.

Power Up and Initialize DRO

Turn on the unit and press any key to proceed with the initial setup.

Reference Encoders

Move each axis to cross at least two reference marks on the glass.

Navigate to Setup Menu

Use arrow keys to locate and select the "Setup" option from the soft key menu.

Access Supervisor Login

Navigate to the Supervisor Login menu using arrow keys and press Enter.

Enter Supervisor Passcode

Input the supervisor passcode '8891' using the numeric keypad and press Enter.

Access Installation Setup

Highlight "Installation Setup" using arrow keys and press Enter.

Access Encoder Setup

Highlight "Encoder Setup" and press the right arrow key to enter encoder configuration.

Select Encoder Port for Configuration

Highlight the specific encoder port to configure and press Enter.

Navigate to Resolution Setting

Highlight the "Resolution (µm)" option and press the right arrow key.

Set Encoder Resolution Value

Select the resolution matching the encoder label and press Enter twice.

Return to Main DRO Screen

Press the left arrow key multiple times to return to the main DRO display.
