Adjust the passenger’s seat fully
forward to make room behind the
seat-back.
Using the measurements shown,
poke a marker hole in the lining
behind the seat.
Pass the strap between the top of the
seat and the bottom of the head
restraint.
Attach the attaching clip to the
tether anchorage point as shown in
the illustration, then tighten the
strap according to the child seat
maker’s instructions. Make sure the
strap is not twisted.
Use a razor blade or sharp knife to
cut a 1-inch (2.5 cm) diameter
circle around the marker hole.
Remove the upholstery you cut.
Install the tether hardware.

(part numbers: 82410-S84-C10 for
the hardware, 82419-S84-C00 for the
cover).
