Measurements can increase sharply if the
device is exposed to normal processes
such as cooking, cleaning and strong
temperature and humidity drops. If
the device is no longer exposed to the
aforementioned processes and the TVOC
value decreases quickly again, this is
normal.
TVOC is not toxicologically sound and
therefore cannot be directly used as
acriterion for assessing health eects.
However, it is used to assess the overall
situation.
