Why is the load reading wrong on my ADMET Gauge Buster 2?
    • R
      ricechristinaAug 3, 2025
If the load reading on your ADMET Test Equipment is incorrect, first, verify that the correct load calibration is selected. The Active Calibration # is displayed in the upper left of the live screen. If the calibration is correct, the issue may be related to analog/digital electronics, a bad excitation voltage, the load transducer cable, or the load transducer itself. For these issues, it is best to contact ADMET technical support. If the issue is with the load transducer cable, replace or fix the transducer cable.

      Ashley LewisAug 11, 2025
If the stress reading is wrong on your ADMET Test Equipment, there are several potential causes. First, ensure that the Specimen Type and specimen dimension information is correct in the SETUP menu. Second, ensure that there is a valid calibration in the selected load channel. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the problem may be with the analog/digital electronics. For this, contact ADMET technical support.

How to fix ADMET Test Equipment when it's not holding peak load?
    • M
      Michael DaviesAug 19, 2025
If your ADMET Test Equipment is not holding peak load, not tracking load during a test, or the Rate Bar is not being displayed, there are a few things to check. First, ensure that the Break Threshold (Sample Brk menu item in the Setup menu) is set to a value appropriate for the test. Also, ensure that Sample Break (SETUP, End of Test menu) is set appropriately. Finally, make sure you wait at least 3 seconds after zeroing the digital display before running a test.

Why is the load reading unstable on my ADMET Gauge Buster 2?
    • E
      Erin GuzmanAug 27, 2025
If the load reading on your ADMET Test Equipment is unstable, it could be due to a bad excitation voltage or the load transducer cable. For a bad excitation voltage, contact ADMET technical support. If the issue is with the load transducer cable, ensure that the cable gain strap is properly wired for the transducer being used and replace or fix the transducer cable.
