5. Install pole #1 into the front end of the kayak connecting it with the boom portion of the
Bow Rib. The pole should be placed on top of the foam oor and the numbered end of the
pole should be at the cockpit of the kayak. See Figure 5.

a. Tip: Connect pole #1 with the Bow Rib through the zipper on the deck at the front end
of the kayak.
6. Insert pole # 2 into the sleeve on the boom of the rear thwart (leave deated) making sure
that the numbered end of the pole is at the back end of the Rear Thwart. See Figure 6.
