Why is my AEG DBS2300 not producing steam?
    • H
      Heather BaileyJul 31, 2025
If your AEG Iron is not producing steam, it could be due to a small amount of water in the water tank. Fill the water tank to the MAX level. Also, your iron may have air in the water tank. After the steam lamp lights, press the steam button for more than one minute to air the system and then get steam.

Why does my AEG DBS2300 Iron leave brown streaks?
    • D
      Dale BookerAug 12, 2025
If brown streaks come through the holes in the soleplate of your AEG Iron and stain the linen, it could be due to using chemical descaling agents or additives in the water. Never add these products to the water tank or boiler. Another cause could be fabric fibres accumulating in the soleplate holes and burning. To resolve this, clean the soleplate with a non-metallic sponge.

Why is my AEG Iron leaking water?
    • W
      Whitney ChanAug 18, 2025
If water is running out of the holes in the soleplate of your AEG Iron, it could be due to a few reasons. Firstly, water may have condensed in the pipes because you're using steam for the first time or haven't used it for a while. Press the steam control button away from your ironing board until the iron produces steam. Secondly, the soleplate may not be hot enough, so increase the heat. If the thermostat is faulty and the iron isn't hot enough, contact an Approved Service Centre.

What to do if my AEG Iron soleplate is dirty?
    • C
      Chelsea HarveyAug 25, 2025
If the soleplate of your AEG Iron is dirty or brown and may stain the linen, it could be because you are ironing at too high a temperature. Refer to the temperature control setting recommendations. It may also be because your linen isn't rinsed sufficiently, or you've ironed a new garment before washing it. Ensure linen is rinsed thoroughly. If you are using starch, always spray it on the reverse side of the fabric to be ironed.
