Whenthequantityofelectricchargeisnotsucient,the
icon of low battery will appear on the lower part of the
screen. Though the battery still can be used, it would be
perfecttoreplaceit(RefertothePicture9.1).
When the quantity of electric charge of the battery is lower
than the minimal value, “Lo“ symbols will be displayed on
the screen, and battery icon ashes and the sound of “Beep“
issentout(RefertothePicture9.2).Unlessyouchangea
new battery, you can not use the thermometer to conduct
measurement.

Takeouttheoldbattery:openthebatterycap(Refertothe
Picture9.3).Putanewbatteryon:putonaCR2032lithium
batterywithcathodedownwardintothebatteryseat(Refer
to the Picture 9.4).
Handling of Batteries
Warning:
• Keepbatteriesawayfromchildren.Batteriesarenotoys.
• Batteriescanbeswallowed,whichcanbefatal.Ifabatteryisswal-
lowed, immediate medical assistance is crucial.
• Neverthrowbatteriesintore.Danger of explosion!
• Donotforcebatteriesopen.
• Ifabatteryleakstakecarenottorubthebatteryacidintoeyesor
mucous membranes. Wash your hands after contact, ush your eyes
with clear water and consult a physician in case symptoms persist.
