Usage Features

Control Panel and Display

The control panel includes a program selector dial (1), TEMPERATURE button (2), SPIN button (3), STAIN option button (4), SENSITIVE option button (5), TIME SAVING option button (6), Display (7), START/PAUSE button (8), and DELAY START button (9). Indicator pilot lights (10) provide visual feedback for WASHING (10.1), DOOR (10.2), and EXTRA RINSE (10.3).

The display (7) shows the duration of the selected program in hours and minutes (e.g., 2.05), updates the remaining time every minute after a program starts, and displays alarm codes (e.g., F20) for operating problems. At the end of a program, a blinking zero (0) is displayed, and the DOOR (10.2) and WASHING (10.1) pilot lights turn off, allowing the door to be opened.

Program Selection and Options

  • Program Selector Dial (1): Used to select the desired washing program.
  • TEMPERATURE Button (2): Selects the desired temperature for the wash.
  • SPIN Speed / RINSE HOLD Option (Button 3): Adjusts the spin speed or activates the Rinse Hold option.
  • STAIN Option (Button 4): For heavily soiled or stained laundry with stain remover (extended main wash with time-optimized stain action phase). Not available below 40°C.
  • SENSITIVE Option (Button 5): Reduces washing intensity and adds an extra rinse for cottons and synthetics, recommended for non-fast colored or frequently washed items.
  • TIME SAVING Option (Button 6): Modifies washing time.
    • DAILY: Reduces duration for daily soiled laundry (press once).
    • SUPER QUICK: Further reduces duration for lightly soiled laundry or items used for a short time (press twice).
  • START/PAUSE Button (8): Starts a selected program (red pilot light stops blinking), interrupts a running program (red pilot light blinks), and restarts a paused program.
  • DELAY START Button (9): Delays the program start up to 20 hours (in 30 min, 60 min, 90 min, 2 hours, then 1-hour increments). The display shows the selected delay time, then the program duration.
  • EXTRA RINSE: Activated by pressing buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for several seconds. Adds an extra rinse for delicate skin.

Daily Use

  • Loading Laundry: Open the door, place laundry in the drum one item at a time, and close the door firmly until it clicks. Avoid embedding laundry between the door and the rubber joint.
  • Detergent and Fabric Softener: Pull out the dispenser drawer. Pour main wash detergent into the compartment, prewash detergent/stain remover into the compartment, and fabric softener into the compartment (do not exceed MAX mark). Close the drawer gently.
  • Adding Laundry during Delay: Press button 8 to pause, add laundry, close the door, and press button 8 again.
  • Interrupting/Cancelling Programs: Press button 8 to interrupt. Turn the selector dial to to cancel a running program.
  • Opening Door after Program Start: Press button 8 to pause. If pilot light 10.2 is off, the door can be opened. If 10.2 is on, the machine is heating or water level is high; turn selector dial to to switch off and wait for the door to unlock.
  • End of Program: Machine stops, button 8, 10.1, and 10.2 pilot lights go off, and a blinking 0 appears. If a program ends with water in the tub, 10.2 illuminates, a blinking 0 appears, and the door remains locked. To drain, turn selector dial to , select DRAIN or SPIN, reduce spin speed if needed, and press button 8.
  • Child Safety Lock: Prevents children from injuring themselves or damaging the appliance. To enable/disable, press buttons 4 and 5 simultaneously for about 6 seconds until symbol 7.3 appears/disappears on the display.
  • Acoustic Signals: Machine sounds at the end of a cycle and for operating problems. Deactivate/reactivate by pressing buttons 3 and 4 simultaneously for about 6 seconds.

Maintenance Features

  • Descaling: Regularly use a water softener if water hardness is medium or high.
  • After Each Wash: Remove laundry, close the water tap, and leave the door open to prevent mildew and smells.
  • Maintenance Wash: Regularly perform a maintenance wash with an empty drum, hottest cotton program, and biological powder detergent to prevent residue buildup.
  • External Cleaning: Clean the cabinet with soap and water, then dry thoroughly. Do not use methylated spirits or solvents.
  • Detergent Dispenser Drawer:
    1. Remove the drawer by pressing the catch and pulling it out.
    2. Flush under a tap to remove powder traces.
    3. Remove the top part of the additive compartment for thorough cleaning.
    4. Clean the dispenser drawer chamber with a brush.
  • Drain Pump: Inspect regularly, especially if the machine doesn't empty/spin or makes unusual noises.
    1. Disconnect appliance.
    2. Wait for water to cool.
    3. Open pump door.
    4. Place a container, release emergency emptying hose, remove cap, and drain water.
    5. Clean the pump.
    6. Replace hose and cap, screw pump back in, and close door.
  • Water Inlet Filters: Clean if the machine does not fill or fills slowly.
    1. Turn off water tap.
    2. Unscrew hose from tap.
    3. Clean filter in hose with a stiff brush.
    4. Screw hose back onto tap, ensuring a tight connection.
    5. Unscrew hose from machine.
    6. Clean filter in valve with a stiff brush or cloth.
    7. Screw hose back to machine, ensuring a tight connection.
    8. Turn on water tap.
  • Emergency Emptying Out: If water is not discharged:
    1. Unplug from power socket.
    2. Close water tap.
    3. Wait for water to cool.
    4. Open pump door.
    5. Place a bowl, drain water via emergency emptying hose.
    6. Clean pump.
    7. Replace hose and cap, screw pump back in, and close door.
  • Frost Precautions: If temperature drops below 0°C:
    1. Close water tap, unscrew inlet hose.
    2. Place ends of emergency emptying hose and inlet hose in a bowl to drain water.
    3. Screw inlet hose back on, reposition emergency emptying hose with cap.
    4. Pour 2 liters of water into the main wash compartment and run a drain program to activate the ECO Valve.
