6 INSTALLATION AND SETUP
The phone requires a valid 2G type SIM card to
work correctly, and can operate with two SIM
cards, if required.
Also, a micro-SD card (up to 16GB) can be
installed in the handset to allow storage of
photos, recordings or other data.
6.1 Install the SIM/SD card and battery
•Switch off the phone, disconnect the power
adaptor and remove the battery.
• Remove the backcover by prising open from
the bottom right corner.
• Remove the battery by lifting the top in the
middle.
• Carefully slide one or both SIM cards into their
holders, as shown P1/P2/P3 on page 2, and slide
a Micro-SD card, if required, into its holder as
shown on page 2.
• Replace the battery by aligning the gold
connectors on the battery with those on the
phone, and push the battery down until it clicks
into place.
• Replace the back cover by placing it flat on the
back of the handset and pushing down until it
clicks into place.
