Function Description:
The AEG refrigerator is designed for storing food and beverages in a domestic indoor environment. It utilizes No-Frost technology, which circulates dry and cold air homogeneously throughout the refrigerator compartment to prevent humidity and freezing, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. The appliance features a control panel for temperature settings and various modes.
Control Panel and Operating Features:
The control panel includes a fridge temperature set button, a super cooling symbol (LED), an alarm symbol (LED), and a fridge adjusted temperature indicator.
- Fridge Temperature Set Button: Used to set the desired temperature for the fridge compartment. Pressing this button cycles through temperature settings (2°C, 4°C, 5°C, 6°C, 8°C, Super cooling).
- Super Cooling Mode: This mode is activated by pressing the temperature set button until the super cooling light illuminates. It is ideal for rapidly cooling large quantities of food or for preparing the fridge for seasonal food storage. For optimal performance, it is recommended to activate this mode 6 hours before placing fresh food in the fridge. The super cooling mode automatically deactivates after 6 hours or when the cooling sensor temperature drops below 2°C.
- Alarm Symbol (Alarm LED): Illuminates red in case of a problem within the fridge, such as improper temperature levels or a cooling process failure.
- Temperature Indicator: Located in the coldest area of the refrigerator, it displays an "OK" message when the temperature is set correctly for optimal food storage. If "OK" does not appear, the temperature may not be properly set.
Accessories:
- Extra Chill Drawers: These pull-out drawers are designed to preserve the taste and texture of fresh fish, meat, and cheese by maintaining a lower temperature compared to the rest of the fridge, thanks to active cold air circulation. Flaps on the rear wall behind the Extra Chill drawer allow control over the amount of cool air entering the drawer; keeping them open ensures the best airflow.
- CustomFlex (In some models): This feature offers customizable storage space within the refrigerator door, with mobile containers that can be rearranged or removed for easy access.

Usage Features:
- Installation: The appliance should be placed in a cool, well-ventilated room, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. It must be kept upright for at least 3 hours before plugging in for the first time to ensure efficient operation and prevent compressor damage.
- Food Storage:
- Liquids should be stored in sealed containers to reduce humidity and frost formation.
- Warm food should be cooled to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator to ensure adequate air circulation.

- Noise: Normal operation may produce cracking (ice cracking) noises during defrosting or temperature changes, motor noise from the compressor, bubbling and splash noises from refrigerant flow, and air blowing noise from air circulation.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning:
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
- Do not wash by pouring water directly on it.
- Use a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water for regular cleaning.
