Key functions include:
- Temperature Regulation: Users can set the desired temperature for both the fridge and freezer compartments. Recommended settings are +4°C for the fridge and -18°C for the freezer, with adjustable ranges to suit various needs.
- Coolmatic Function: This feature is designed for rapid cooling of large amounts of warm food placed in the fridge, preventing temperature increases for other stored items. It activates automatically or can be manually engaged and typically stops after approximately 6 hours.
- Frostmatic Function: For the freezer compartment, the Frostmatic function pre-freezes and fast-freezes fresh food, protecting already frozen items from undesirable warming. It is recommended to activate this function at least 24 hours before adding fresh food for freezing and automatically deactivates after 52 hours.
- Holiday Mode: This mode allows the fridge compartment to remain empty during long holiday periods, reducing bad odors while the freezer operates normally. It switches off automatically when a different temperature is selected.
- DYNAMICAIR Function: The refrigerator compartment includes a DYNAMICAIR device for rapid food cooling and maintaining a more uniform temperature. This function activates automatically when needed or can be switched on manually. Its activation increases energy consumption, and the fan operates only when the door is closed.
- ChildLock Function: To prevent unintentional operation, the ChildLock function locks the appliance buttons.
