Preparing the Device for Operation
1. Carefully open the packaging and remove the device and accessories.
2. Remove the water tank (see fig. C).
3. Clean the device (see “Cleaning and Maintenance”)
4. Fill the tank with water. To make the process easier, use the supplied
measuring cup (12).
WARNING! Use distilled water only.
5. Install the water tank in the device. You should hear a distinctive click when
the tank is properly installed.
6. Insert the plug of the power cord into an outlet. The power indicator (6) will
start flashing.
7. Press the power button (8). The power indicator will light up steadily and the
operating mode indicator (7) will start flashing.
8. Wait about 35 s until the water is heated. When the heating is complete, the
operating mode indicator will light up steadily.
9. Perform a test run of the device (see “Test Run”).
