Maintenance Guidelines:
1. Battery Usage and Maintenance:
Afreda uses lithium-ion batteries, which have no memory effect and require long-term
maintenance to maintain battery health.
a. For long periods of non-use:
⚫ Ensure that the main power switch is in the middle position and the horn light
is turned off.
⚫ Monthly, check the battery capacity, and charge both batteries to full
capacity.
⚫ Monthly, turn on the power and test the functionality of the lights, horn, and
motor.
b. For daily use:
⚫ You do not need to completely discharge the battery before recharging; you
can recharge it as needed.
⚫ If possible, completely use one battery before using the other one.
c. Independent battery sides:
⚫ Both sides of the battery are completely independent with separate charging
and discharging circuits, which do not interfere with each other.
⚫ You can charge both sides of the battery simultaneously to reduce charging
time.
d. Battery capacity display:
⚫ After turning on the control panel, press the power button three times to view
the battery voltage. For a normal voltage 48V battery, the highest voltage is
around 54V, and the lowest voltage is around 40V.
