5.1 Preparing mounting
D Verify that the pump does not influence the position of the float in the prod-
uct (for example, strong flow or suction effects).
D Verify that no shut-off fitting is mounted to the product.
D Verify that the probe body is removed before welding work is performed.
WARNING
BURNS CAUSED BY HOT LIQUID
Water in heating systems is under high pressure and can have temperatures of
more than 100 °C.
• Verify that you have drained the heating water or allow it to cool down before
opening the product.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or
equipment damage.
NOTICE
DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT
Excessive water temperature or excessive water pressure can destroy the prod-
uct.
• Verify that the maximum permissible water temperature is not exceeded.
• Verify that the maximum permissible water pressure is not exceeded.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
