BEFORE YOU BEGIN
BASIC PLUMBING SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION. IF YOU ARE UNSURE
OF YOUR ABILITIES TO INSTALL THE SYSTEM USING THESE INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE
HIRE A QUALIFIED PLUMBER.
READ THROUGH YOUR PARTS LIST AND VERIFY ALL COMPONENTS ARE ACCOUNTED
FOR AND IN GOOD CONDITION BEFORE SCHEDULING A PLUMBER.
PLEASE READ THROUGH THE ENTIRE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY. IF HIRING
A PLUMBER ENSURE THEY HAVE A COPY BEFORE THEY START.
MOST COMMON QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS OR FAQ

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

2-PRE-INSTALLATION PREPARATION

2.3-Load resin and gravel-GRAVEL GOES IN FIRST

Critical step to load gravel first, then resin, into the polyglass tank.

3-ATTACH THE CONTROL HEAD

3.1-Lubricate the O-rings DO NOT USE VASELINE

Lubricate tank and pilot O-rings with silicone lubricant or vegetable oil only.

3.3-Screw on control head HAND TIGHT ONLY

Screw head down until solid contact, tighten 1/4-1/3 turn. Do not overtighten.

4-PREPARE AND CONNECT BRINE TANK

5-SETUP CONTROL HEAD

5.1-Plug control head in

Connect the control head to a qualifying outlet and verify power.

5.2-DIGITAL CONTROLLER - Initial valve setup

Initial programming by setting the clock to 12:01pm to enter master programming.

5.3-DIGITAL Controller - Resets

Procedures for soft and hard resets to resolve controller issues.

5.4-MECHANICAL CONTROLLER - Frequency

Calculating and setting system frequency based on water hardness and capacity.

5.5-MECHANICAL CONTROLLER - Time

Setting the 24-hour time gear for regeneration cycles.

6-PLUMBING GUIDELINES

6.1-Drain Line Connection

Connect the drain line with a physical air gap to avoid contamination, never tie multiple systems together.

6.2-Inlet/Outlet Connections

Ensure correct flow direction for inlet/outlet connections to prevent damage.

7-PLACE SYSTEM IN SERVICE

7.1-Open bypass valve SLOWLY

Slowly open bypass valve to bleed air, then fully open once tank is full.

7.2-CHECK FOR LEAKS

Check all connections for leaks, especially between tank and control head.
