GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The machine is a rapid access processor for
processing DAYLIGHT FILM, CAMERA
LINE, CONTACTS, RESIN COATED
PAPERS and PHOTOTYPE SETTING MA-
TERIALS.
AUTOMATIC START AND STOP
When material is inserted into the proces-
sor, the sensors located in the feed slot
automatically activate:
- the main motor for the transport rollers
- the circulation pumps for the developer,
and fixer.
- the magnetic valve or aqua stop valve for
rinsing water
- the blowers and heating elements for the
dryer section
The material is automatically transported
through the developer, fixer, wash and dryer
sections.
When this process has been completed, the
abovementioned functions are automatically
stopped and the processor goes into idle
mode. The temperatures of the developer
and fixer solutions remain constant according
to the temperatures set on the control panel.
JOG MODE
In order to avoid crystallization on the rollers
in the developer and fixer racks, the proces-
sor has been programmed to start the main
motor for transport rollers and the circulation
pumps at certain intervals
RACKS
The material is transported through four
separate sections. These sections (the de-
veloper, fixer, wash and dryer sections) are
the most important parts of the processor.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
To obtain optimum developing results, the
temperatures of the developer and fixer
baths are controlled electronically with great
accuracy and are kept at a constant tempera-
ture by means of immersion heaters and
circulation pumps.
