Overview

This document describes the "Titan Remote Control" for a bidet, manufactured by Agua Canada. It serves as an instruction manual covering installation, function buttons, adjustments, energy saving, nozzle cleaning, user settings, and general specifications.

Function Description:

The Titan Remote Control is designed to operate various functions of a bidet, providing a convenient and personalized user experience. It allows for rear and front cleaning, drying, massage, and adjustments to water pressure, spray nozzle position, water temperature, and seat temperature. The remote also features energy-saving modes, nozzle cleaning functions, and user-specific settings to store preferred parameters.

Installation:

The remote control comes with a hanger for wall mounting. Installation involves drilling a 6mm hole with a 35mm depth, inserting an expansion tube, attaching the hanger with a screw, and securing it with double-sided adhesive tape. Batteries are then installed, and the remote is placed on the hanger. A crucial notice advises against installing or using the product in moist places like steam rooms or areas prone to getting wet.

Usage Features:

  • Rear/Front Cleaning: Pressing the "REAR" or "FRONT" button initiates water spray for cleaning the respective areas. The cleaning cycle stops automatically or can be manually stopped by pressing the "STOP" button.
  • Drying Operation: The "DRY" button activates a warm air stream for drying. This function also stops automatically after a cycle or when the user leaves the seat.
  • Massage: The "MASSAGE" button activates a pulsating spray, where the nozzle moves back and forth to extend the cleaning area. Pressing the button again stops the massage function.
  • Spray Nozzle Position Adjustment: During "REAR" or "FRONT" cleaning, the spray nozzle position can be adjusted through 5 levels using dedicated arrow buttons.
  • Water Pressure Adjustment: Water pressure for both rear and front cleaning can be adjusted using the "+" and "-" buttons during a cleaning cycle.
  • Dry Temperature Adjustment: The "DRY" button allows adjustment of the drying air temperature. The LCD displays 1 to 5 lines, indicating levels 1 to 5, with no display meaning normal temperature. Adjustment is done by cycling up and down.
  • Water Temperature Adjustment: The "WATER" button adjusts the water temperature for cleaning. Similar to dry temperature, 1 to 5 lines indicate levels, and no display signifies normal temperature.
  • Seat Temperature Adjustment: The "SEAT" button controls the seat temperature, with 1 to 5 lines indicating levels and no display for normal temperature.
  • Energy Saving: The "ENERGY SAVER" button allows users to set specific energy-saving periods (3, 6, or 9 hours, or off). During this mode, the power light is off, the energy saver light is on, and the seat temperature is set to the lowest level. The mode pauses if a user sits on the seat and resumes after they leave.
  • Nozzle Self-Cleaning:
    • Quick Press: A quick press of the "NOZZLE CLEANING" button initiates a brief self-cleaning cycle, moving the nozzle to the front position without spraying, allowing for manual cleaning.
    • Long Press: A long press of the "NOZZLE CLEANING" button triggers a 90-second self-cleaning cycle where the nozzle remains stationary and sprays.
  • User Settings: The remote allows users to save personalized settings for "USER 1" and "USER 2" by long-pressing the respective buttons. These settings include current pressure, nozzle position, dry temperature, water temperature, seat temperature, and massage status. A quick press of the "USER 1" or "USER 2" button recalls the saved parameters.
  • Night Light: The night light can be toggled between off and intelligent states by repeatedly pressing "STOP" then "DRY".
  • Quiet Mode: Pressing "STOP" then "MASSAGE" turns off the buzzer to reduce noise, especially at night. Repeating the process reactivates the buzzer.
  • User Code: To prevent interference from multiple bidets in a household, a user code can be set. This involves turning on only the bidet to be configured, then pressing "STOP" and "REAR" to enter user code setting. Water pressure buttons ("+" and "-") select codes 1-9. Pressing "STOP" and "REAR" again saves the setting, and the buzzer confirms with a "click." The sum of water pressure and position levels on the LCD indicates the user code. Restarting clears the user code.

Maintenance Features:

  • Power Cut Handling: In case of a power cut during wand spray operation, the wand may not retract. Users should wait for power to reset. For prolonged power cuts, the wand can be gently pushed back manually, avoiding excessive force to prevent damage to the wand or electrical components.

Important Technical Specifications (implied from functions):

  • Power Source: Requires batteries for the remote control (type not specified, but implied by installation steps).
  • Wireless Communication: Operates wirelessly with the bidet unit.
  • Display: LCD screen for displaying settings and status.
  • Adjustable Levels:
    • Spray nozzle position: 5 levels.
    • Water/Dry/Seat temperature: 5 levels (plus normal temperature).
    • Water pressure: Adjustable via "+" and "-" buttons.
  • Energy Saver Periods: 3, 6, 9 hours, or off.
  • User Codes: 1-9.
  • Nozzle Cleaning Duration: 90 seconds for long-press self-cleaning.
