Overview

The Aicok CM4276-V Drip Coffee Maker is a 12-cup appliance designed to brew coffee. It comes with a glass carafe, a measuring spoon, a removable filter, and a removable funnel, making it easy to set up and use.

Function Description:

This coffee maker is designed for preparing drip coffee. It operates by heating water in the water tank, which then drips through coffee powder in the filter into the carafe below. The unit features a warming plate that keeps the brewed coffee warm for a period after brewing is complete. The coffee maker also includes a timer function, allowing users to set a delayed brewing time.

Usage Features:

Before initial use, it is recommended to thoroughly clean the product. To prepare for brewing, the funnel should be placed into its support, followed by the filter. The glass carafe is then positioned on the warming plate. For a preliminary cleaning, water should be added to the maximum level in the water tank and brewed without coffee powder, then discarded.

To begin brewing, coffee powder is added to the filter. The amount of coffee powder can be adjusted, with a general guideline of one spoon per cup of coffee. Water is then filled into the water tank, ensuring not to exceed the maximum level marked on the tank. Once plugged into a socket, the LCD will display "AM 12:00." Pressing the "On / Off" button will start the brewing process immediately, and an indicator light will turn blue.

A convenient feature is the ability to remove the carafe to pour coffee even before brewing is fully finished; the unit will automatically stop dripping within 30 seconds. After brewing is complete, the unit will keep the coffee warm on the warming plate. The coffee maker is designed to automatically shut down after 2 hours if the brewing process has concluded.

The timer function offers flexibility for users. To set the current time, the "Set Delay" button is pressed once, which will display "CLOCK" on the upper right of the LCD. The "Hour" and "Minute" buttons are then used to adjust the time. To set a delayed brewing time, the "Set Delay" button is pressed again, displaying "TIMER" on the upper left. The "Hour" and "Minute" buttons are then used to set the desired brewing time. Finally, pressing the "Delay Brew" button will activate the delayed brewing, indicated by a yellow light, and the unit will begin brewing coffee at the set time. When the set brewing time arrives, the indicator light will turn green. If the unit needs to be stopped temporarily, the "On / Off" button can be pressed. Pressing it again will reset the timer.

Maintenance Features:

The removable filter and funnel simplify the cleaning process, allowing for easy removal and washing. Regular cleaning of the internal components, as demonstrated by the initial water-only brew, helps maintain the coffee maker's performance and ensures fresh-tasting coffee.

Precautions for Use:

For safe operation, the unit should be placed on a flat surface, and the power cord should not hang over the edge of a table or countertop, nor should it touch hot surfaces. The coffee maker should never be operated without water. When pouring coffee, the lid should be pressed down, and coffee should be poured slowly until the carafe is empty. To prevent fire, electric shock, or injury, the cord and plug should not be immersed in water or any other liquid. Users should avoid touching hot surfaces and instead use the handles or knobs provided. The unit should not be placed near hot gas burners or ovens. It is also important to keep the unit out of reach of children. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, it should be reversed. If it still doesn't fit, a specialized electrician should be contacted, and no attempt should be made to modify the plug.
