Overview

This document describes the AIKE Jet Hand Dryer, model AK2006H, a high-speed, automatic hand dryer designed for hygienic and efficient hand drying.

Function Description

The AK2006H is a jet hand dryer that operates without physical contact, ensuring a hygienic drying process. It utilizes high-speed airflow to dry hands quickly, reducing electricity costs compared to traditional methods. The dryer is equipped with an anti-damage timer that automatically stops the unit after 25 seconds of continuous operation, preventing overheating and allowing users to re-insert their hands to continue drying if needed.

The device features an intelligent heat system that adjusts the air temperature based on the room's ambient temperature. When the room temperature is above 25°C, it blows normal temperature air (700W) for a cooling effect. When the room temperature drops below 25°C, it switches to warm air (1850W) for comfortable drying. Users can also choose to turn off the intelligent heat system for continuous normal temperature air (700W) or, by removing the temperature sensor as explained in the instructions, force the unit to always blow warm air (1850W).

The design incorporates human engineering principles, with a 15° angle for ease of use. It includes a separate air supply for hygienic operation and a drain tank to collect water, preventing drips onto the unit or floor.

Usage Features

To use the AK2006H, users simply stretch out both hands and insert them fully into the hand drying area. The unit automatically starts running. To effectively dry hands, users should pull their hands out slowly, allowing the air to blow off the water, and then pull them out completely. The self-check indicator on the right side of the unit will light up or flash if a malfunction or error occurs. In such cases, the power switch should be turned off, and after approximately 40 seconds when all indicators are off, the power switch can be turned back on. If the indicator persists, the unit should be disconnected from the socket, and the dealer contacted.

The unit features a power switch, a heating switch (for intelligent heat system control), and a speed switch. It also has a drying time and fault display, a power indicator, and a self-check indicator. A lamp illuminates the hand drying area.

Maintenance Features

The AK2006H is designed with maintenance in mind. It includes a drain tank and an air filter, both of which must be installed and regularly maintained. Power must be cut off during maintenance to prevent electric shock. If the machine malfunctions or shows abnormal conditions, power should be cut off, the leakage circuit breaker closed, and the supplier contacted for inspection and repair.

Safety Warnings:

  • Do not open the front panel, as this may cause electric shock.
  • Children are forbidden from hanging on the machine due to the risk of falling.
  • Do not use the unit in wet environments like bathrooms where direct water or condensation can occur, as this may cause electric shock and unit malfunction.
  • Do not allow the unit to get wet.
  • Do not modify or disassemble the unit unnecessarily, as this may cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
  • Ensure the rated power supply is used, with a tolerance of +/-10%. Incorrect power supply can lead to breakdown, fire, electric shock, and machine malfunction.
  • Use a dedicated socket; sharing with other appliances can cause abnormal heat and fire.
  • Power must be cut off during maintenance.
  • The drain tank and air filter must be installed.
  • Do not switch on the unit within 10 seconds after connecting power.
  • If the machine malfunctions, cut off power, close the leakage circuit breaker, and contact the supplier.
  • A reliable grounding wire must be installed to prevent electric shock.
  • Installation should only be performed by professional construction personnel when the machine is not powered. Incorrect installation can cause electric shock and fire.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a responsible person.
  • If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons.
  • For additional protection in bathrooms, a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable.

Environmental Protection:

  • Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. They should be recycled where facilities exist. Users should check with their Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
