The AirCraft POWERGLIDE CITY is a cordless hard floor cleaner designed for domestic, indoor use. It is specifically engineered for cleaning and buffing smooth hard floors such as tiles, natural stone, laminate, wooden floors, and vinyl. The device is not intended for use on floors with protruding nails or screws.
Function Description:
The POWERGLIDE CITY operates as a hard floor cleaner and polisher. It features rotating discs to which cleaning pads are attached. A spray trigger on the handle allows the user to apply liquid (water or pre-mixed cleaning solution) to the floor surface, keeping the pads damp for effective cleaning. The device is guided by turning the wrist, enabling easy steering for simultaneous cleaning and buffing. For stubborn stains, the user can spray and then hover over the area, allowing the rotating pads to work. After spraying, guiding the device over the same area helps to dry and buff the floor. The handle incorporates a wireless remote control for starting and stopping the device and activating the spray function. LED headlights on the base illuminate the cleaning path.

Usage Features:
- Pad Selection: The POWERGLIDE CITY comes with two types of pads: Pink Pads and Grey Pads. Both can be used for general cleaning. Grey Pads are specifically recommended for buffing and achieving a brilliant finish, particularly on high gloss floors. The pads attach to the rotating discs using Velcro, with the colored side facing the floor. For optimal "glide," pads should be placed centrally on the discs.
- Liquid Application: The device has a 275ml tank that can be filled with water or a pre-mixed floor cleaning solution (5ml of solution per full tank of water is recommended to prevent nozzle blockages). Users can also spray floors directly with water, cleaning solution, or liquid wax using a separate spray bottle before using the POWERGLIDE CITY, but wax or polishing solution should not be dispensed into the device's tank.
- Operation: To start cleaning, press the Start/Stop button on the handle. The handle LED will flash once, and the LED headlights on the base will illuminate. Pressing the Start/Stop button again turns the device off. The spray trigger on the handle is used to apply liquid to the floor.
- Battery Level Indicator: Four LED lights on the base indicate the battery capacity. It is recommended to recharge when only one blue light appears. The device will not operate while connected to the charger, a safety feature.
- Assembly: The device is assembled by inserting the extendable aluminum tube into both the handle and the base until the ball springs click into place.
- Safety Advice:
- For domestic, indoor use only.
- Not for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience/knowledge unless supervised or instructed.
- Do not expose electronics or attempt to service the battery; refer to qualified service agents. Self-service invalidates the guarantee.
- Ensure charger voltage matches outlet voltage.
- Remove items that could entangle in rotating discs (clothing, loose papers, cords, cables, fragile objects) before use.
- Do not use to clean volatile liquids (e.g., petrol, white spirit).
- Only use the supplied AC Charging Adaptor or an original replacement.
- Do not handle the charging adaptor plug or power cable with wet hands.
- Disconnect from the charger before use.
- Operate in room temperature environments only.
- Do not submerge in water or any other liquid.
- Do not touch rotating discs during operation.
- Always apply pads to rotating discs before use.
- Avoid excessive cleaning solution to prevent slippery floors or streaks.
- Avoid continuous operation for over 20 minutes to prevent overheating.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: The exterior of the POWERGLIDE CITY can be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
- Pad Care: Pads can be machine-washed (at 30°, without fabric softener) or hand-washed as often as required. Additional or replacement pads are available from AirCraftVacuums.com.
- Nozzle Maintenance: Rinse the spray nozzle with clean, warm water weekly to prevent detergent blockages.
- Water Tank: Empty the water tank after each use.
- Battery Storage: Store the device with the battery at least 65% charged to prolong its lifespan.
- Charging Adaptor: Only use the original AirCraft AC Charging Adaptor or an authorized replacement. Using other types of adaptors will damage the battery and invalidate the guarantee.
- Troubleshooting: A troubleshooting guide is provided for common issues such as non-responsive buttons (check AAA batteries in handle, main battery charge), spray not functioning (lack of liquid, air blockage, detergent build-up), uneven spray (nozzle blocked), nozzle drips (blockage from cleaning solution), discs not rotating (self-protection circuit engaged), and low battery (charge battery).
Guarantee and Disposal:
The product comes with a 12-month guarantee from the purchase date, with exceptions for the battery (6 months) and pads (3 months). The guarantee is valid only if the product is properly maintained, used for domestic purposes according to the user guide, and repaired only by manufacturer-authorized services. It excludes defects from fair wear and tear, and self-service invalidates the guarantee.
For disposal, the product and its battery should be separated from general household waste and disposed of according to local laws and regulations at a designated collection point. This ensures proper recycling and protection of human health and the environment.
