Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What size space can Airocide® cover?
A: Airocide is meant for single room use. It can accommodate a room of any size -
small to large.
Q: Can I have my windows open?
A: Airocide will work with windows open or closed, but is most effective with the
windows closed. If you are allergy or asthma sufferer, however, experts recommend
closed windows.
Q: My Airocide feels warm to touch on one side.
A: This is normal. The unit is drawing in power from that side.
Q: Do all sides need to be in the flow of air?
A. No. To be effective the top, front and two sides of the unit need to be in the flow of
air.
Q: I heard a rattling sound when I took my Airocide out of the box.
Is it broken?
A: No. This is the sound of the inner pieces simply shifting. This is normal and nothing
is wrong with your product.
Q: Is there any maintenance?
A: About once every six months you will need to change the Reaction Chambers.
See page 7 for details. Extreme environments may require cartridges to be changed
more frequently.
Q: What type of Indoor Air Quality issues can your air purifier remove from the air?
A: In short; all of them. Our patented NASA developed process eliminates fungi,
mold, viruses, bacteria, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) - noxious gasses
emitted from aerosol sprays, cleaning supplies, building materials, paints, and car
exhaust. Unlike strictly filtration devices, these pollutants are permanently eliminated.
The Airocide APS-200 PM 2.5 will also remove all particulates such as dust, smoke,
cigarette residual, and the uncombusted carbon that emanates from cars and smoke
stacks. If it is in your air, and harmful to your health; Airocide will remove it.
