      Robert BowenAug 11, 2025
If your AKDY Range hood or the lamp isn't working, it could be due to a loose terminal or connector. To resolve this, open the control box by removing the 6 screws, and then disconnect the power supply from the hood. Check that the connector coming from the motor is securely connected to the connector mounted on the plastic, ensuring the locking system is properly engaged. If the connectors are not well connected: - Hold and press the main connectors attached in the white plastic. - Push inwards the motor/lamp connectors until the locking system on connectors is well attached. Finally, reconnect the hood to the power supply and verify.

      Lynn TranAug 16, 2025
If the AKDY Range hood fan is not working, there might be an issue with the electronic control due to over voltage. Check if the LCD lights up and icons are in place when pressing any key. If not, consider replacing the control and user interface. Also, the motor connector might have become loose during cleaning, causing a false contact. To resolve this, open the control box, remove the power supply, and ensure the motor connector is securely connected to the plastic connector, making sure the locking system is engaged. Reconnect the power supply and test.

Why is my AKDY 668 blower so noisy?
    • T
      Terry ReyesAug 29, 2025
If your AKDY Range hood blower is excessively noisy, it might be due to dirty filters. Check the grease and/or charcoal filters to see if they are clean. If the charcoal filter is dirty, replace it. If it's a grease filter, wash it and then verify if the noise has reduced.

How to fix AKDY Range hood lamp that does not turn on?
    • R
      Robert LeeSep 4, 2025
If the lamp on your AKDY Range hood isn't turning on, there could be a few reasons. First, the electronic control might not be working due to over voltage. Check if the LCD lights up and icons are displayed when you press any key. If not, you may need to replace the control and user interface. Another possibility is a non-functional lamp. Remove the lamp and check if the filament is burned or not correctly placed. Replace the lamp if necessary. Also, check the motor connector. If it has been loose during cleaning, open the control box, remove the power supply, and ensure the motor connector is securely connected, verifying the locking system. Reconnect the power and check.
