  To correct picture geometry distortion on your Akira TV: * First, enter Factory Mode and check the EWW and EWP parameters to see if adjusting them changes the picture shape. * If not, readjust the Main Menu parameters. * Also, inspect and replace components C301 and D301 if they are faulty. * Check IC301 and the feedback path, including C305 and C303, replacing them if necessary. * Finally, check and replace R307 and IC301 if faulty, and also check and replace D303, R305, and C306 if faulty.

  If your Akira TV cannot search or tune stations, the issue may be with the RF/IF circuitry. Try the following: 1. Check electrolytic capacitor C212 and resistor R209; replace them if they are faulty. 2. Verify that IC102 is 24108 and not 24104. 3. Check the voltage level during switching of J144 and J145, and also check IC802's supply voltage. 4. Try a flyover wire bypass from J151 to capacitor C230.
