Question and Answer IconNeed help?

Do you have a question about the AKSO TURBIDEZ Max and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The device is a Turbidity Meter, specifically the "Turbidez Max" model from AKSO, designed for measuring water quality. It is a portable instrument with a digital display and dynamic buttons for navigation and operation.

Function Description

The Turbidez Max is used to measure turbidity in water samples. It offers both instant and continuous measurement modes. The instant mode provides a single final result, while the continuous mode displays variations in readings due to the movement of suspended solids. The device stores up to 1000 records internally, with the last 50 directly viewable on the meter. For older records, data can be downloaded to a computer using the AKSO_Max_Logger program via a USB-C connection. The instrument also features adjustable settings for user ID, sample ID, backlight intensity, date, time, and language. It supports English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

  13. After measurement, discard the sample and wash the cuvette with distilled (or deionized) water to prevent residue buildup or staining.

Adjustment (Calibration):

  • The device can be adjusted at 7 points: 0NTU, 5NTU, 20NTU, 100NTU, 200NTU, 500NTU, and 800NTU.
  • Important: Adjustment should only be performed when there is evidence of significant deviations exceeding the instrument's accuracy.
  • Requires stable standard solutions with reliable values. Using unreliable standards is the user's responsibility.
  • To access adjustment: Turn on the instrument, navigate to "Configs" using the ▲/▼ buttons, press "Enter." Then navigate to "Ajuste" (Adjust), press "Enter." Select "Turbidez" (Turbidity), press "Enter." Select "Ajustar" (Adjust), press "Enter."
  • Follow on-screen prompts to insert standard solutions (starting with 0.00NTU) and press "Medir" (Measure) for each point.
  • Factory default adjustment values can be restored by selecting "Padrão fabrica" (Factory standard) in the "Ajuste" menu.
