Safety instructions
Read and then follow the safety instructions..
Keep the safety instructions for subsequent use and for
any other owners of the machine.
Follow the safety instructions and precautions on the
machine.
Several models are described in this operating manual.
Note model numbers!
General safety instructions
Children and young people under 16 years of age as well
as persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or
medication must not use the machine.
Local regulations may specify the minimum age of the
user.
Observe the accident prevention regulations.
Keep hands and feet away from rotating parts.
The concrete mixer may be operated with original spare
parts only.
The concrete mixer may be repaired by authorised
specialist companies only
The concrete mixer must not be switched on if either the
concrete mixer or the connection cable is damaged.
Do not leave the concrete mixer unsupervised.
Safety devices
Motor protection switch
If the concrete mixer is overloaded, the motor protection
switch switches the motor off. The motor protection switch
must not be disconnected.
If the motor protection switch has switched off the concrete
mixer, proceed as follows:
41. Disconnect the concrete mixer from the power supply.
42. Eliminate the cause of the overload.
43. Leave the concrete mixer to cool down for 2–3 minutes,
reconnect the power and switch on the concrete mixer.
Connection cable
Use only a rubber-insulated connection cable of HO7RN-F
quality with a cable cross-section of 3 x 1.5 mm². The type
designation must be identified on the connection cable.
The maximum permitted cable length is 50 m.
Use only one connection cable of adequate length. It is not
permitted to connect several cables to each other.
Plug and socket must be made of rubber.
Connection cable, plug and socket must be splash-proof.
The connection cable, plug and coupling socket may be
repaired by authorised specialist companies only. A
defective connection cable (e.g. insulation cracked, cut,
crushed or kinked) must not be used.
Keep plug and socket connections dry.
Danger!
Do not damage or sever the
connection cable
If the connection cable is damaged, proceed as follows:
Disconnect the cable from the power supply.
Electrical requirements:
TOP 1202 H/1402 HR
 230 V/50 Hz alternating current
 Minimum cross-section
connection cable = 1.5 mm²
 Minimum fuse mains connection = 10 A
TOP 1403 HR
 400 V 3~/50 Hz three-phase alternating current
 Mains connection and connection cable 5-core:
3P+N+SL
 Minimum cross-section connection cable = 1.5 mm²
 Fuse, mains connection = 16 A
Direction of rotation of the
drum:
anti-clockwise. Check the
direction of rotation whenever
the power is reconnected.

Intended use
TOP 1202 H/1402 HR/ 1403 concrete mixers may be used
in private home and garden. Concrete mixers may be used
exclusively in accordance with the information stated in this
operating manual.
 Concrete mixers are designed for mixing concrete and
mortar.
 It is not permitted to mix combustible, explosive or
harmful substances.
 The concrete mixer must not be used in the food
industry.
 The concrete mixer must not be operated in a
potentially explosive atmosphere.
 The concrete mixer may be operated with original spare
parts only.
