e following sections can be used after power has been applied to the light lift and the controller is
plugged into the controller wire. Turn o light switch to chandelier.
CEILING POSITION: e light lift will automatically shut itself o at the ceiling. e chandelier will
only light in the CEILING POSITION.
DOWN POSITION: User controls the DOWN POSITION. e DOWN POSITION is where the
light lift is at the desired elevation for chandelier maintenance. e light lift will automatically shut itself o
anytime the key is released.
TURN ON THE CONTROLLER:
1. Insert the key into the key lock.
NORMAL OPERATION:
1. Turn and hold the key to the right to operate the light lift down.
2. Turn and hold the key to the left to operate the light lift up.
3. Anytime the key is released the light lift will stop.
4. Release the key once the chandelier has reached the DOWN POSITION.
5. Allow at least two seconds between up and down commands.
6. e light lift will automatically shut itself o at the CEILING POSITION.
TURN OFF THE CONTROLLER:
1. Remove the key from the key lock.
Safety Warnings
Call Aladdin Light Lift immediately if the light lift operates down while turning the key to the left and
up while turning the key to the right. A safety hazard can occur and cause the chandelier to fall, which
could cause death, personal injury and/or property damage.
Never operate the Aladdin Light Lift without tension on the cable. Never remove or tamper with the
cable safety device. Never install an Aladdin Light Lift that has the cable safety device removed or
tampered with. e cable safety device consists of the limit switch and small gauge rectangular wire.
It is located directly in front of the winch drum. Removing or tampering with the cable safety device
could cause the cable to become reversed wrapped on the winch and could also cause the cable to unravel
o the winch drum and get damaged. Never install or operate an Aladdin Light Lift that has a frayed,
kinked, or otherwise damaged cable. Never operate the Aladdin Light Lift without rst removing the
paper tape from the winch drum. Avoiding any of these could cause the chandelier to fall, which could
cause death, personal injury, and/or property damage.
