Distorted audio:
If you are transmitting, speak in a
normal, moderate voice, 5 to 7 cm
away from the microphone, and do
not cry! If you are receiving, lower the
volume to a comfortable level. Weak
batteries may also be a reason for
distorted audio, or radios, which are
operated too close together. Two
radios must be operated in a
minimum distance of 1.5 m; increase
your distance.
