Usage Features

Device Parts: The fridge includes a fan, LED lamp, temperature control, door handle (not shown), door compartment, glass shelf, drip tray for condensation, condensate drain, mains cable with plug (on the back, not shown), and an air filter (on the rear, not shown). Specific compartments are designated for different items:

  • A: Suitable for fresh fruits
  • B: Suitable for beverage cans
  • C: Suitable for beverage bottles

Setup and Installation:

  • Maintain minimum distances for adequate ventilation: 10 cm to the ceiling and rear wall, and 5 cm to the side walls.
  • Connect to a properly installed, easily accessible safety socket.
  • Ensure the local mains voltage matches the appliance's technical data.
  • The socket must be freely accessible for quick unplugging.
  • Do not use an extension cable.
  • Position the appliance on a stable, flat surface. Adjust the front screw foot to compensate for unevenness.
  • Avoid direct sunlight exposure and proximity to heat sources (ovens, radiators, underfloor heating).
  • Protect from moisture and splashes; never immerse in water.
  • Do not place other household appliances on top of the refrigerator.
  • Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.

Operation:

  • After unpacking and cleaning, set the temperature control to "Min" and close the door.
  • The appliance will reach operating temperature approximately 1-2 hours after connection to the mains.
  • The cooling temperature can be set from 4.5°C (Min) to 15°C (Max) using the temperature control (3).
  • Load the cooling compartment first, then the door compartment.
  • Store different foods according to compartments or target storage temperature.
  • Ensure food does not touch the rear wall to prevent overripening or dampness.
  • In case of a power cut, check food condition before consumption.
  • Do not store medicines, laboratory preparations, or other temperature-sensitive products.

Door Hinge Change: The refrigerator is supplied with a right-hinged door. The manual provides detailed instructions for changing the door opening direction using a No. 8 spanner (metric) and a small flat-head or Phillips screwdriver. This involves removing and re-attaching hinges and covers, and adjusting the door for an even seal.

Energy Saving Tips:

  • Only place pre-cooled food or drinks into the refrigerator.
  • Avoid placing hot food or drinks inside.
  • Do not position near heat sources.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation.
  • Minimize door opening frequency and duration.
  • Select temperature control setting based on how full the appliance is.
  • Leaving the shelf in the appliance during operation contributes to lower energy consumption.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket before cleaning. If the plug is not accessible, switch off the corresponding mains supply.
  • Never pull the plug with wet hands.
  • Empty the refrigerator and remove the glass shelf (6).
  • Wash the refrigerator compartment with a mild detergent (e.g., washing-up liquid or a soda solution) and dry thoroughly.
  • Clean all fittings and dry them.
  • Clean appliance surfaces (except the door seal) with a mild cleaning agent; silicone wax can be used if necessary.
  • Clean the door seal with clean water and allow it to dry.
  • Avoid using flammable liquids for cleaning.
  • Do not allow oil and grease to contact plastic parts or the door seal, as this can make them porous and brittle.
  • Never use acidic, abrasive, granular, acetic-acid-, soda-, or solvent-based cleaning agents.

Fan Filter Cleaning:

  • Unplug the refrigerator.
  • Remove the fan filter (1) from the rear of the appliance by pushing the two clips on top.
  • Rinse the air filter under running water and dry completely.
  • Re-attach the filter by aligning the tabs with recesses and pushing the clips into the upper slots until they lock.

Emptying the Drip Tray for Condensation:

  • Condensation collects in the drip tray (7) below the refrigerator and usually evaporates naturally.
  • If excess liquid accumulates (e.g., from a leaking water bottle), absorb it with an absorbent cloth.
  • Wipe the drip tray with a damp cloth to remove contaminants.
  • Note: The drip tray is permanently screwed to the base and cannot be readily removed.

Replacing the Interior Light:

  • The replacement of the interior LED light is reserved for the manufacturer, customer service, or a similarly qualified person.
  • If the interior light does not work, contact customer service.

End of Operation/Storage:

  • If not using the appliance for a long time, remove the plug, empty the appliance, wipe and dry the cooling area, wash all fittings, and leave the door open to prevent odors and mold.

Troubleshooting: The manual provides a table for common malfunctions, their causes, and rectifications, such as:

  • Appliance not working: Check plug, connection cable, and fuse.
  • Temperature not low enough: Check door seal, arrangement of contents, and air filter.
  • Appliance operating too loudly or vibrating: Adjust feet, check air filter.
  • Temperature control not working: Contact customer service (defective temperature sensor).
  • Interior lighting not working: Contact customer service (defective LED).

Disposal:

  • Before disposal, remove the door and leave storage shelves inside to prevent children from climbing in.
  • Cut off the mains cable.
  • Dispose of packaging materials (sleeve, tray, film) according to recycling guidelines.
  • Dispose of the device at a collection point for electrical scrap or a recycling center, in accordance with local legal provisions.
