Function Description

The running vest is intended to increase the wearer's visibility in twilight and darkness, thereby enhancing safety during outdoor training. It is equipped with LED lights that can operate in two modes: flashing and continuously lit. The LED lights are located on both the front (white LEDs) and back (red LEDs) of the vest and can be switched on and off independently. Usage Features

Adjustable Fit: The vest features adjustable shoulder straps and an adjustable waist belt to ensure a close, comfortable fit without digging into the body.
Easy Battery Access: Battery compartments are designed to be pulled out through an opening for easy insertion and replacement of CR2032 batteries.
Simple Operation: A single on/off button controls the LED lights. Pressing once activates flashing mode, pressing a second time activates continuously lit mode, and pressing a third time switches the lights off.
Safety Strips: New vests come with safety strips in the battery compartments that must be removed before first use.
Polarity Guidance: Users are instructed to observe correct polarity when inserting batteries.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning: The running vest should be cleaned superficially with a dry, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly moist cloth can be used.
No LED Replacement: The LEDs are not replaceable. When the LEDs reach the end of their service life, the entire light fixture must be replaced.
Battery Removal for Storage: For extended periods of non-use, batteries should be removed to prevent leakage.
Storage Conditions: Store the vest in a dry location, out of reach of children, direct sunlight, heat sources, and frost. Avoid excessive mechanical stress during storage and transportation.
Damage Check: Users should check the running vest for damage before every use and discontinue use if damaged.
Moisture Protection: The battery compartment and LEDs are not protected against moisture. The vest should be kept away from water and other liquids and not used in the rain. If moisture penetrates, discontinue use.
No Modifications: Users are explicitly warned not to make any modifications to the running vest.
Replacement Schedule: The running vest should be replaced no later than five years after its date of manufacture.
Battery Disposal: Used batteries must be disposed of at designated collection points (point of sale, battery retailers, or local authority recycling centres) and should be fully discharged before disposal.
