Much
of the
sound of
an electric
guitar
doesn't come
just
ftom
the
guiar
amp or effects, but from
the
sound of the speaker cabinet.
The
GT
includes
two
very realistic
Cabinet
Simulators
for
simulating the
sound of
speaker
cabinets.
In addition there's
a convenient
Global
override
function
that allows
you
o:
l)
Turn
off the Cabinet Simulators
globally
without
losing
the
individual
program
settings,
if
you're
driving
Loltgl@glllp-an
ar4p;_or
2)
Choose CabinetLSimulator
I or2glohally
for
Spcialapplicr&lns--
where
ttre
individual settings are
not
appropriate.
This
saves
you
the
hassle
of
reprogramming
all
your
parches.
There
are two
Modes for
the Cabinet
Simulator:
Mode 1: PROGRAM. This Mode
stores
the
Cabinet Simulator
setting
with
each
program.
Use
PROGRAM
for
all basic
individual
program
editing
and
for normal
storage of Cabinet Simulators
settings in individual
prognms.
Mode 2:
GLOBAL.
This
Mode
overrides the
individual
program
Cabinet Simulator settings
for
use with
a
guitar
amp
or special situations. There
are 3 choices
in
GLOBAL
Mode:
l. OIIF. Use this when
you're
using
your
GT with
a
guitar
amplifier.
You
probably
won't want
ttre effect of the Cabinet
Simulaors
combined with the sound of
your guitar
amp's speakers. This
conveniently turns off the Cabinet Simulators
globally
without
losing
the individual
program's
settings.

CABINET
1. This
allows
you
to override
individual
program
Cabinet Simulator senings and
only use Cabinet
l,
without
losing
the individual
program's
settings.
3. CABINET
2. This
allows
you
io overide
individual
program
Cabinet Simulator senings and
only use Cabinet
2, without losing
the
individual
program's
settings.
To
choose
Mode 1 or 2,
press
Preamp
until the display
reads:
CAB SIMULATOR
PROGRAM
or
CAB SIMULATOR
GLOBAL
Scroll
Value
Up
or Down
to choose the
Mode
you
want.
If
you
choose
PROGRAM, Press PAGE
Up and Scroll
with
the
Value Buttons
to choose
these
three
options: OtF; CABINET
1;
CABINET 2.
If
you
choose GLOBAL,
Press PAGE
Up and Scroll with the Value Buttons
to choose these three options:
OFF GLOBAL;
CABINET I
GLOBAL; CABINET
2
GLOBAL.
