POWER AND SIGNAL CONNECTIONS

INPUT SIGNALS

Analog Input Signal

Apply analog input to Pin 4 for setpoint or control.

RS-232; RS-485 Digital Input Signal

OUTPUT SIGNALS

RS-232; RS-485 Digital Output Signal

Connect RS-232/RS-485 output signals to computer serial port.

Standard Voltage (0-5 Vdc) Output Signal

0-5 Vdc output on Pin 6 for MC-Series controllers.

DISPLAYS AND MENUS

Main

Default display showing pressure, temp, setpoint, flow rates.

MAIN

Volumetric Flow Rate

Displays volumetric flow rate in selectable units.

Mass Flow Rate

Displays mass flow rate corrected to STP/NTP.

Choosing Engineering Units from Main Mode

SELECT MENU

CONTROL

Accesses setpoint source, loop variable, and PID tuning.

BASIC CONFIG

Configures gas selection, device units, STP/NTP references.

ADV SETUP

Adjusts sensor settings, unit ID, baud rate, display settings.

TROUBLESHOOTING

After installation, there is no flow.

Checks setpoint signal, grounding, and setpoint source.

Controller is slow to react to a setpoint change or imparts an oscillation to the flow.

Suggests PID tuning adjustment for slow response or oscillation.

RS-232; RS-485 Serial Communications is not responding.
