  If the power supply to your AlkaViva Water Filtration System is suddenly cut off, it may be due to an elevated level of salt or high TDS in the water, extended operation at high pH levels, or a sudden flux in electrical current. The unit has a built-in safety mechanism to protect the electrodes and circuitry, which will automatically shut it down. Wait for about 30-60 minutes; the unit will become operational again. This mechanism protects the unit from overuse or excessive electric current.
