Function Description
The Microdose™ Phaser provides various controls to shape its phase-shifting effects, including:
- Stages: This switch allows selection between 2, 4, or 8 stages of phase shifting.
- 2-stage: Delivers a subtle, vintage-style effect.
- 4-stage: Offers a more modern or contemporary phasing effect.
- 8-stage: Provides the most intense and dramatic phasing experience.
- Warp: This knob modifies the duty cycle of the chosen waveform. At the 12 o'clock midpoint, the waveform remains unaltered. Adjusting in either direction produces varying effects based on the selected waveform, allowing for broad experimentation.
- Rate: Controls the modulation speed. Turning it clockwise accelerates the modulation.
- EXP (Expression Pedal Input): Compatible with any standard tip/ring/sleeve (TRS) expression pedal. When connected, it overrides the RATE knob's function.
- Multiplier: Used in conjunction with the RATE and TAP TEMPO controls, this knob adjusts the speed multiplier, ranging from 0.5x to 4x of the base speed (1x). The RATE and TAP TEMPO define the base speed.
- Depth: Regulates the amplitude of the frequency sweep. Lower settings produce a gentle and subtle phasing effect, while higher settings yield a rich and profound experience.
- Resonance (RES): Controls the feedback level. Minimum settings produce fundamental tones of classic phase shifting, offering a subtle and authentic sound. Turning the knob higher amplifies the effect's intensity for more dramatic and pronounced phasing.
- Waveforms: This knob offers a selection of sixteen distinct modulation shapes, divided into two groups:
- Inner Ring (STD - Standard): Features eight traditional modulation shapes.
- Outer Ring (ALT - Alternate): Presents eight unique alternate modulation shapes.
- The WAVE SET switch toggles between the STD and ALT shape groups. For a classic phase shifter effect, users can start with either the Sine or Triangle wave setting.
- Blend: Balances the "dry" (original) and "wet" (effected) signal outputs.
- Minimum setting: Produces 100% dry signal.
- Maximum setting: Delivers 100% wet signal.
- For an iconic phase shifter effect, positioning the knob at 12 o'clock provides a 50/50 mix, offering the classic phasing experience.
- Level: Determines the overall output volume of the pedal. Its broad output range allows users to tailor the volume to perfectly fit their equipment setup.
- Tap Tempo Footswitch: Overrides the RATE knob by measuring the time between presses. Adjusting the RATE knob after using the TAP TEMPO footswitch transfers control back to the RATE knob.
- Bypass Footswitch: Engages or disengages the effect.

- Power: The Microdose™ does not support battery power. It requires a clean 9VDC power source.
