Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Downloading the App
The bt app is available on the App Store for Apple devices and on
the GooglePlay Store for Android devices. Search “Alliance bt”
and download the app with the blue bt icon. You can also scan the
QR code to go straight to the download page.
Step 2: Identify your xtures
Be sure to have bluetooth enabled on the device. The bt app will identify the xtures
when they are powered on. An icon of a light bulb will represent each xture the app has
identied. To identify a xture, toggle the light off and on by clicking an icon and seeing
which light it is controlling.
Step 3: Control your xtures
(3a) To control all of the xtures at the same time, long press on the button
that says “All Devices.” To control an individual xture, long press on it’s icon.
(3b) A long press from the home screen will bring up the control screen for changing
the white color temperature of the lamps. There are 3 preset options for 2700K, 3000K and
4000K. A color wheel is also available for choosing other color temperatures. The slider in
the middle of the screen will dim the light, sliding left will make the light dimmer,
and sliding right will make the light brighter.
(3c) Clicking on the “COLOR” button at the bottom center of the page will bring up the
control screen for changing the light to RGB colors. There are presets for Red, Green,
Blue, Purple and Amber. A color wheel is also available for choosing other RGB colors.
The slider in the middle of the screen will dim the light, sliding left will make the light
dimmer, and sliding right will make the light brighter.
(3d) Clicking on the “SCENE” button at the bottom right corner of the page will bring up
the control screen for changing the light to a preset scene. There are three preset
options of Red+Green, Purple+Orange, and Red+White+Blue. The light will automatically
cycle through each scenes preset colors. The slider in the middle of the screen will
change the speed in which the colors cycle through the scene. Sliding left will slow down
the cycle, and sliding right will speed up the cycle.
