Installing software and drivers
Easy camera access with Vimba SDK for Windows and Linux
Download our Vimba SDK, see https://www.alliedvision.com/software.
Windows: Use Vimba to install the camera driver.
Required accessories
• USB 3.0 / 3.1 Gen 1 external host controller card or on-board host controller
• USB 3.0 / 3.1 Type-A to Micro-B cable.

Installing the Allied Vision USB device driver (Windows only)
1. Before connecting the camera to your Windows PC, install Vimba.
2. Connect the camera and start the Vimba Driver Installer.
3. Install the Vimba USB device driver.
