• Install the speedometer drive cable onto the driven gear assembly. Tighten the
cable nut to 50–55 lb in. (5.6–6.2 N·m). Avoid sharp bends in the cable. The
torque required to drive the cable and all associated equipment should not
exceed 25 oz-in. (0.17 N·m).
5–13. FILLING THE TRANSMISSION
• Be sure the transmission hydraulic system is properly filled with fluid before
starting the engine. Refer to Paragraph 1–4.
