Programmable
Code-iIn
Procedure
The
1310R
is
equipped
with
an
Anti-Theft
feature
which
requires
a
4
digit
code
entry
before
the
unit
will
operate.
The
factory
preset
code
is
(0100),
if
you
wish,
you
can
change
the
factory
code
to
your
own
personalized
4
digit
code.
NOTE:
lf
this
unit
is
being
installed
for
the
very
first
time,
you
must
enter
the
factory
preset
code
number
(0100),
before
programming
a
new
code
number.
Initial
Code-in
Procedure
When
the
"PWR"
power
button
is
pressed
on
the
1310R,
the
display
will
light
up
and
the
word
"CODE"
will
appear
in
the
display.
Enter
the
factory
preset
code
as
follows:
1.
Press
the
D.A.P./INTRO
button
@®,
and
the
display
will
show
"0000"
with
the
first
"O"
on
the
left
blinking.
2.
Use
the
4
"Directional"
buttons
(count
up
®,
count
down
©,
move
right
@,
and
move
left
@)
and
input
the
factory
preset
code
of
"0100".
3.
Press
the
TUNER/BAND
button
©
and
the
display
will
come
up
and
display
"FM-1".
The
1310R
will
now
operate
normally.
NOTE:
Due
to
the
possibility
of
theft,
we
recommend
you
change
the
factory
preset
code
to
your
own
personal
code.
If
the
unit
is
ever
stolen,
it
will
not
function
without
entering
your
personal
code.
If
the
vehicle's
battery
is
disconnected
then
reconnected,
your
personal
code
will
still
remain
in
memory,
it
will
not
be
wiped
out.
Changing
the
Programmable
Code
To
change
the
factory
preset
code
or
your
personal
code,
you
must
know
the
"Old
Code"
to
program
a
"New
Code"
into
the
1310R.
If
you
cannot
recall
or
do
not
know
the
"Old
Code"
then
contact
Alpine
Service
Department
to
arrange
shipping
of
the
1310R
to
a
factory
facility
ONLY
for
re-coding.
NOTE:
Re-coding
of
the
1310R
back
to
a
factory
preset
code
of
"0100"
is
not
covered
under
Alpine's
factory
warranty.
Please
contact
Alpine
Service
Department
for
costs
and
conditions
for
re-coding
of
the
1310R.
Changing
the
Code
Since
the
system
is
fully
programmable,
you
can
change
the
code
as
often
as
you
wish.
Follow
the
procedure
below:
1.
Press
the
TUNER/BAND
button
@),
to
make
sure
the
radio
is
in
the
Tuner
mode.
2.
Press
and
hold
the
REPEAT
button
©
for
more
than
2
seconds,
and
the
display
will
show
"CODE".
3.
Press
the
D.A.P./INTRO
button
4,
and
the
display
will
show
"0000"
with
the
first
"O"
on
the
left
blinking.
