~ OPERATION
4. Use the 4 "Directional" buttons (count up ©, count down ©, move right @, and move
left ®) and input the previous code (Old Code).
5. Press the TUNER/BAND button @ to enter the previous code, and the display will
blink "CODE".
6. Press the D.A.P./INTRO button @, and the display will show "0000" with the first "O"
on the left blinking.
7. Use the 4 "Directional" buttons (count up , count down ©, move right @, and move
left @) and enter a four digit personal code (New Code).
8. Press the TUNER/BAND button @), and the display will blink the new code for 5 sec,
then the display will show the word "CODE".
9. Press the D.A.P./INTRO button ®, and the display will show "0000" with the first "0"
on the left blinking.
10. Use the 4 "Directional" buttons (count up ©, count down ©, move right @, and move
left @) and input the previous code (Old Code) one more time.
11. Press the TUNER/BAND button @ to enter the previous code (Old Code) and now
your new code is permanent.
NOTE:
If the code is entered wrong three (3) times an "E—" is shown in the display, you must
wait 10 minutes until the display reads "CODE" to try again.
If any buttons are pressed before the display shows "CODE", you must wait another
10 min. from the time the button was pressed.
Each time three (3) wrong codes are entered into the 1310R, the waiting time in-
creases (1st time — 10 min., 2nd time — 20 min., 3rd time — 60 min.)
Initial System Start
When operating the system for the first time after installation or after the vehicle's
battery has been disconnected and reconnected, set the volume level to its minimum, then
carefully press the Reset switch @ with a sharp pencil or any other pointed object.
How to Adjust the Volume and Tone
1. Turn On the system by pushing any button (other than Reset ©.)
2. Press the Audio MODE Select button © to change modes. Each time this button is
pressed, the new MODE will be shown in the display.
3. Once the desired mode appears in the display, use the \v button @ to decrease
level/balance LEFT/fade REAR or the ~_ button © to increase level/balance RIGHT/
fade FRONT.
Power Off
Press the PWR button @ to turn the unit Off.
Loudness
1. Press the LOUD button @ for more than 2 seconds to activate the loudness function.
2. Press the LOUD button @ for more than 2 seconds again to defeat this feature.
