Four preset volume levels can be set for traffic information reception in the SDK
mode.
1. Press the TUNE switch ® for 2 seconds.
2. Press the Preset No. 2 button 43 to switch “LV-4" to LV-1".
Select the desired level.
Two ways are selectable when traffic information reception signal is weak in the
SDK mode.
1. Press the TUNE switch ® for 2 seconds.
2. Press the Preset No. 3 button 43 to switch the display between “ALA” and “SRCH”.
When the ALA is selected, alarm goes off and when the SRCH is selected, other
broadcast station is sought automatically.
@ BASIC OPERATION
Initial System Start
When operating the system for the first time after installation or after the vehicle's
battery has been disconnected and reconnected, set the volume level to its minimum,
then carefully press the Reset switch 62 with a sharp pencil or any other pointed object.
How to adjust the volume and tone (Refer to the diagram in page 12.)
1. Press the POWER button @ to turn the unit on.
(You can turn the unit on with any one of switches except for Eject button @ and UP
and DN switches © and ©.)
2. Press the Audio MODE Select switch 8) to select each adjusting mode.
VOL. = TRE (BAS: = -BAL > FAD = VOL! s-t-3:4
Everytime this switch is pressed, the mode changes. Each mode indicator Is then On.
The mode indicator changes as each mode is selected. '
3. Once the desired mode appears in the display, rotate the Audio MODE Select switch
to make your adjustment. The display will return to the previous mode indication after
five seconds.
Power Off
Press the POWER button @ to turn the unit off.
Cautions During CD Playback
Playing a disc while driving on a very bumpy road may result in skipping, but this will
not scratch the disc or damage the player.
NOTES:
1. Your player accepts only one disc at a time for playback. Do not attempt to load more
than one disc.
2. Make sure the label side is facing up when you insert the disc. Your player will
automatically eject any disc that is inserted incorrectly. If the player continues to eject
a correctly inserted disc, push the Reset switch 82 with a pointed object such as a
sharp pencil.
