Adjusting the External Input Audio Level
After setting to ON in “Setting the AUX Mode”, this setting can be
carried out.
Setting item: Level
Setting contents: Low / High
Switching the Visual Input Signal System
After setting to ON in “Setting the AUX Mode”, this setting can be
carried out.
Setting item: Signal
Setting contents: PAL / NTSC
The video input type can be changed.
Outputs the picture of the source selected on the IVA-W520E connected
to the rear monitor.
Setting item: AUX OUT
Setting contents: OFF/ON
If an optional BLUETOOTH INTERFACE or Portable Navigation with
BLUETOOTH function is connected, you can place a hands-free call by
a BLUETOOTH-equipped mobile phone. Make this setting when the
BLUETOOTH function is used. For details, refer to the Owner’s
Manual of the optional BLUETOOTH INTERFACE or Portable
Navigation.
Setting item: BLUETOOTH IN
Setting contents: OFF / HFP / HFP+Audio / Nav.
If mobile phone compatible with the Voice-Dial function is
connected, the Voice-Dial function can be used.
The unit’s
(OPTION) button function can be changed.
Setting item: Option Key
Setting contents: Audio Setup / MAP
An external device (such as a portable music player) can be connected
to the BLUETOOTH interface connector of this unit. A special
Conversion cable (KCE-237B) is necessary to adapt the BLUETOOTH
interface connector as an AUX IN.
Setting item: AUX+ IN
Setting contents: OFF / ON
When OFF is selected, the settings related to AUX+ cannot be
changed from this unit.
After setting to ON in “Setting the AUX+ Mode”, this setting can be
carried out.
Setting item: AUX+ Level
Setting contents: Low / High
The rear entertainment function independently routes different sources
to the front and the rear inside a car. For example, while listening to the
radio or other audio source in the front, DVD can be enjoyed in the rear
with the optional rear monitor and headphones.
Setting item: Rear Source
Setting contents: OFF / Disc / iPod / DVD CHG / EXT.DVD / AUX
Select OFF to cancel the rear entertainment mode.
The display of setting contents may vary depending on the setting
and connected device.
Low: Decreases the external input audio level.
High: Increases the external input audio level.
Setting the Picture Output
OFF: The “Remote Sensor” and “Rear Source” items are not
displayed on the System Setup screen.
ON: The “Remote Sensor” and “Rear Source” items are
displayed on the System Setup screen.
Setting the BLUETOOTH Connection
(BLUETOOTH IN)
OFF: Select to ignore any external interrupts.
HFP: Select when the optional BLUETOOTH
INTERFACE KCE-250BT is connected and the
BLUETOOTH Hands-Free Phone function is used.
For details, refer to the Owner’s Manual of
KCE-250BT.
HFP+Audio: Select when the optional BLUETOOTH
INTERFACE KCE-400BT is connected and the
BLUETOOTH Hands-Free Phone/BLUETOOTH
Audio function is used. For details, refer to the
Owner’s Manual of KCE-400BT.
Nav.: Select when an optional Portable Navigation is
connected.
The Telephone screen of the portable navigation is
displayed.
Setting the OPTION Button on the Unit
Audio Setup: Press (OPTION) to recall the Audio Setup
screen.
MAP: If you press (OPTION) when an optional Alpine
Navigation System is connected, the navigation
map screen will be recalled.
Setting the AUX+ Mode
OFF: AUX+ source is not displayed
ON: AUX+ source is displayed
Adjusting the AUX+ Audio Level
Low: Decreases the external input audio level.
High: Increases the external input audio level.
