4.2 Recording additional remote controls
Please mind that the new remote controls will be recorded into the motors within the range of action with the already
registered remote control. If it is necessary to record a new remote control to only one of the motors, the remaining ones
should be disconnected.
Press 2 times «P2» key on the recorded remote control (a short beep sound should follow each key press), then press
once «P2» key on the new remote control. After that 6 short beeps will be heard and the motor will make a short up/down

4.3 Recording a group of motors on a single remote control
To control a group of motors by one remote control (channel of remote control), while maintaining individual control of
other remote controls (channels of remote control), you need to add a selected remote control (channel of remote control)
to different motors, section 4.2.
4.4 Deleting remote controls
Motors of AM1/RS series allow deleting all remote controls ever recorded into the motor memory. To accomplish this, it is
necessary to delete every recorded remote control from the memory.
To delete a remote control from the motor memory, disconnect the motor from the supply mains. Connect the motor
to the supply mains (it is possible to delete remote controls within the first 10 sec. after connecting the motor to the supply
mains).
Press 3 times «P2» key, then press 3 times the control key «» and again press 3 times «P2» key. A short beep sound
should follow each key press, and 3 short beeps will be heard and the motor will make a short up/down movement after
the last key press.
4.5 Changing the rotation direction of the motor
Changing rotation direction of the motor is only possible with unadjusted or deleted limit positions.
When using remotes АТ-1, АТ-15, АТ-1S, АТ15S:
If after programming a remote control the roller door moves in the wrong direction (the roller door closes after
pressing "" key), it is necessary to press keys «» and «» at once and hold them for 3 sec. After that 3 short beep
sounds will be heard and the motor will make a short up/down movement.
When using a remote control АТ-4N:
If after programming a remote control the roller door moves in the wrong direction (the roller door closes after
pressing "" key), it is necessary to delete the remote control from the motor memory (section 4.4) and program it again.
However, "" key should be pressed instead of "" key (section 4.1).
5. LIMIT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
It is not allowed to operate electric motors of AM1/RS series without adjusting limit switches, as this
may cause damage to the curtain.
5.1 Automatic adjustment of limit switches
Before starting the automatic adjustment of limit switches, make sure that the roller shutter system is
equipped with stoppers in the lower part of the curtain and security locks (locking straps) or retainer
profiles in the upper part of the curtain. Security locks (locking straps) must be optimally selected in
accordance with the used roller shutter systems according to the diagrams and regulations of
ALUTECH. If necessary, adjust the number of slats of the roller shutter curtain so that the locking straps
are in the optimal position.
Press «P2» key, then press «» and then press «P2» key again. Each key press will be followed by a short beep, and the
last key press will be followed by 3 short beep sounds, and the motor will make a short up/down movement.
Press «» key, the curtain will go up as far as the stoppers will stop it and then it will go down as far as the locking
straps will allow it.
The adjustment of limit switches completed.
Raise and lower the roller shutter curtain fully several times using the «»/ «» keys, make sure the upper and lower
limit positions are set correctly.
Make sure there are no obstacles for the curtain and that the curtain runs smoothly when
automatically adjusting the limit switches. If there are any obstacles, remove them and eliminate the
cause of their occurrence, delete the limit switches settings as described in section 5.4 and then make
automatic or manual adjustment of limit switches again.
