Theleaktestmustbecarriedoutinawell-ventilatedarea,free
fromanyamesorothersourcesofignition.
• Withthecartridgeinstalled
inthestove.Opentheignitor
knob.
• Brushtheconnections(stove
tocartridge)withasolutionof
equalpartssoapandwater
(makesureit’sfoamy).
• Astreamofbubblesforming
indicatesagasleak.(See
Fig.A)
• Ifbubblesappear,turntheigni-
tionknobOFF,‘O’,(clockwise)
andreleasethecartridgelock
levertotheupwardposition
andremoveandisolatethe
gascartridge.
• Re-installthegascartridge,
makingsurethecartridgeslot
ispointingupwardandretry
theleaktest..
• Ifyouareunsureorifyou
cannotinstallthecartridge
withoutaleakoccuringplace
thebutanecartridgeoutsidein
acool,well-ventilatedareaand
contactAlvaon086 100 ALVA
(2582).
• Aleakbetweenthestoveand
canistercanleadtoare,
whichisverydangerousand
canresultinextensiveinjuryor
evendeath.
