Before First Use
• Have the appliance run one ful Cyc e at time control dial 6 without any food in it (See Operation)
• Repeat at time control dial 4, and etit complete 2 or g cyces, still without any food
• Do this until no odor or smoke can be detected Ensure ample ventilation
Note: Manufacturing residues may cause the appliance to emit a slight burning odor when first
switched on. ThlS is norma and does not indicate any defect or hazard

Place the appliance on a stable, evel and heat-resistant surface
Unwind the power cord from the cord storage ocated at the bottom of the appliance
Insert 2 slices Of bread (Or 2 bagels) •rito the bread slots ( each). DO not force the bread Or bagel
into the slots
Connect the power plug to a wa outlet
Adjust the time control dial to the desired sett•ng (see Fig. 1)
Pull the ever down till it locks into position The red indicator on the CANCEL button lights up
When the time is over the ever wi spring up and the toaster wil automatical y power off
TO interrupt the process at any time, press the CANCEL button The red indicator on the
CANCEL button goes off
